Paddu

Introduction about Paddu
             Paddu is a break fast recipe and it is very teasty food and this paddu mixture can also use for dosa, its called uttappa and you can prepare sada dosa also. its one of the popular recipe in south India, especially in rural area people doing this recipe. I learn first with my mother. my mother doing amazing paddu and today i sharing my style paddu. I taken ingredients to serve thirty people, it is famous recipe in south India especially in dhakshina kannada. this recipe can serve with red chilly chatni or green chatni some people crazy about eaing paddu with curd amazing 😋.



Ingredients:
  • 1 cup urad dal
  • 3 cups dosa rice
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds/methi(optional)
  • few corander leaves(optional)
  • 1 Onion
  • Green chilly
  • Salt to teast
  • Oil for greasing tawa
Instructions:
Soak urad dal and rice, methi / fenugreek seeds in seprate bowl (optional) soak for 5 hours, after first drain the water from rice and blend to smooth.
Mix it well and keep it in a warm place for 12 hours. the next day mix the better slightly take required batter in a different bowl.
Finally chop onion if you put more onion it give more teast, corander leaves (optional), green chilly, salt to teast and mix well.
Put paddu thava in gas stove and reduce the heat to medium.

Put oil to thava and next put mixture with the help of large spoon and cook for 3 min with a closed tid.
Once better cooked in down part slowly flip it over in the help of spoon and cook other side till its comes to brown colour.

The teasty paddu recipe is ready, it is one of the easiest recipe to learn, take paddu into hot box because its very teasty to eat when it is hot and paddu can serve with red chatni😊.
