Introduction about Masala bhat
Masala bhat is a Maharashtra (South- Indian) food and it is almost similar to veg Pulav and it is very teast, once you cook this recipe you also love this recipe and its my favorite recipe. i learn this when i went to Maharashtra, its very easy to learn and i like this because its teast similar to veg pulav. you can prepare this recipe to guest in midday lunch with green chatni or salad or which you like 😊.
Ingredients:
For Masala:
- 1/2 bowl Scraped Coconut
- 1 inch Ginger
- 10 Garlic
- 7-8 Green Chilly
- Coriander leaves
- Mint leaves
For Masala Bhat
- 7-8 tsp oil / ghee
- Cinnamon stick
- 5 Cloves
- 2-3 Black Pepper
- 1 Cardamom
- 2 Bay leaf
- 15 Whole Cashew
- 1 onion
- 1 potato
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 cup mixed vegetable(Beans, Carrot, corn, etc.)
- 250 gm Peas
- 2 cup Rice(Basmathi / Sona masuri)
- 4 cup Water
Instructions:
First prepare masala, so take blender and add Scraped Coconut, Ginger, Garlic, Green Chilly, Coriander leaves, Mint leaves, water and blend keep the masala in side.
Put cooker in stove and heat oil / ghee and prepare tempring.
Add cinnamon stick, Cloves, Bay leaf, Black Pepper, Cashew, Cardamom and now take blended masala, saute well.
Add chop onion, potato, peas, Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, corn, etc) and saute well 2 minutes.
Further add 2 Cup of washed Rice and 4 Cup of Water and Salt to teast add Turmeric powder, Stir well cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes till 2 visel of cooker.
Then Finally can serve masala bhat with Green Chatni or Salad which you have like to teast 😋.
