Uttappa

Introduction of Uttappa
Uttappa is another south Indian healthy breakfast recipe. It prepared with rice and urad dal batter used for preparing idli, dosa and also prepare paddu which i shared recipe with you. You can prepare batter in advance or before 12 hours. I already explained how to make batter in previous recipe of paddu. Uttappa is make it like Pizza😍. It is teasty and easiest recipe to make and you can make different dish in one time like (All in one) idli, Uttappa, paddu, dosa. You serve Uttappa with green or red chatney😁.

Ingredients                                                       
  •          Idli batter
  •          ½ cup onion
  •          2 tomato
  •          3-4 green chilly
  •          Few Coriander leaves(optional)
  •          Salt to taste
  •          Oil/butter  for frying


Instructions
Heat tawa in medium flam. Spread oil on hot tawa. If tawa is heated take one ladle batter spread it in round shape like dosa/ pizza. But Uttappa batter slightly thicker then batter spread for dosa. Batter should not spread on thin otherwise vegetables can not stick on the batter.
Immediately sprinkle on the chopped onion, tomato, green chilly over it and you can also add coriander leaves in optional. If you want oil or batter you can put around the edge or middle.
Cook Uttappa until bottom burns light golden brown and cook another side for a minute.
Transfer it to the plate and your Uttappa is ready to serve it hot with coconut chutney😋.

Instruction about to make Uttappa batter
👉Soak urad dal and rice in bowl soak for 5 hours, after first drain the water from rice and blend to smooth and take it on bowl.
Mix it well and keep it in a warm place for 12 hours. The next day mix the better slightly take required batter in a different bowl. Don’t add vegetable together in batter.
